Most of the longboards reviewed here on Longboard Reviews tend to be longboards with longer shapes, meant for teens to adults. So, after some deliberation, I have decided to feature a longboard that is potentially a really good longboard for kids!
The longboard I’m referring to is the Mini Cruiser Longboard. It’s a short, mini-sized longboard that is great for everyone looking to cruise about, especially kids! Its small size means that kids can handle it with ease and learn longboarding on it easily. On top of that, it comes in many colors and costs less than $70! A great starter choice!

The Mini Cruiser Longboard is a gorgeous longboard that is pretty much perfect for kids. Cruisers are usually on the smaller side, to ensure portability and all-in-all, a mini cruiser is best used when you just want to have some casual fun on a longboard, riding about on a lazy day.
A good mini cruiser longboard is usually lightweight, and short and stable -- cruisers are definitely meant for casual fun on the safe side!

Adults can have loads of fun on a small mini cruiser, but if you have kids around 5-10 years old, the Mini Cruiser Longboard is one of the best choices out there.

You can easily strap it to your backpack and carry it around wherever you go -- the lightness of the longboard is a huge plus.
Why is the Mini Cruiser Longboard a good longboard for kids? Well, first off, it’s a small size which definitely makes it less daunting for kids to try longboarding around. It’s also nice and stable, so the chances of a kid falling off the longboard is significantly reduced. It’s an amazing starter board for kids!

On top of that, the Mini Cruiser Longboard comes in a huge variety of colors ranging from the wood-colored ‘Natural’ (as seen above) to a nice shade of blue (see below). This means you’ll get plenty of bang for your buck with the large range of colors to choose from! On top of that, you’ll get to decorate your longboard or customize it if you opt for a single colored-one. Awesome.
The only gripe you might have with this longboard is that if you’re gonna be using it a lot you might have to think about changing the wheels or the bearings so you can cruise around faster. If you’re getting it for your kids, though, it’s amazing and good to go right out of the box.

I bought this for my kids so they could practice longboarding and skating. They are tiny tots around 5years and 18 months old. They are absolutely in love this with the mini cruiser!
I love it too -- it’s easy to turn with, and has pretty nice wheels and bearings which make it fun to glide around with
Also, pretty good looking!I wasn’t very sure, at first, about this longboard. It comes at a cheap price, so I doubted the quality. However, as soon as it arrived, it cleared my doubts -- it’s a quality board. My neighbor spent more than a hundred dollars on a custom longboard and mine was no different from his, except with better wheels and spacers. I would definitely recommend this board to everyone.
